Name so good you say it twice, Morgan Morgan is the Houston-based DJ and creative force steering both Night Ride Experience (NRX) and Modern Day Cowboy. He launched NRX in 2017 to fuse the city’s late-night car-cruise culture with genre-fluid club sounds, and now drives the no-speed-limit DJ duo Autobahn that headlines NRX takeovers from warehouse lots to SXSW dance floors. 

Hailed as “a true historian of dance,” Morgan rockets through house, techno, UKG, Afrobeats, rap and drum-and-bass in a single set, stitching global club history into one high-octane journey.

When he isn’t broadcasting mixes on Ice House Radio, you’ll catch him curating Modern Day Cowboy nights at neighborhood spots like Boondocks HTX—keeping Houston’s dance pulse raw, inclusive and always in overdrive.

Houston-raised and New-York-seasoned, Josh Allen fuses dance-floor alchemy with multidisciplinary design. As co-founder of the Modern Day Cowboy collective alongside Morgan Morgan, he’s become a fixture at late-night takeovers across Texas, guiding crowds through sets that slip from deep house and UKG to screw-tipped rap, baile funk and techno without easing off the throttle. At the same time, Allen’s studio-label Richardandgrace and the pop-up platform Software Update HTX showcase the same restless curiosity in visual form—minimal abstract canvases, furniture sketches and sneaker remixes that turn chaos into sleek, functional art. Whether curating warehouse parties or installing gallery pieces, Allen treats every space as a blank canvas, inviting listeners and viewers alike into a cinematic world where sound and sight push each other forward
