A back-to-back alliance between Austin artists and DJs ASHMAR and Stefon Osae, The Brothers Groove steers club crowds through house, amapiano, afrobeats and baile-funk without ever lifting a foot from the gas pedal. Since debuting at SXSW 2023, the duo has held sweaty late-night residencies at Coconut Club and Paradise Palace, packed festival barns at MOCO, and dropped a first single, “YOU KNOW IT,” that channels their West-to-Texas fusion of global bass and feel-good bounce.

Austin-based Stefon Osae melds the call-and-response uplift of the Black church with soulful house, hip-hop and future-funk edits. As musical director of Origin Studio House, he crafts originals like the Intention EP and Apple-Music standouts “Rolling Stone” and “Boundaries."

California-raised nomad ASHMAR began as a singer-songwriter, dove into production in Las Vegas, and found his groove as one of Austin’s fastest-rising DJs. Nominated for Austin Chronicle “DJ of the Year,” he juggles hip-hop, R&B and global club sounds with razor-sharp transitions, co-curates the roaming party wav.cation, and co-drives The Brothers Groove.
